We move fast, multiple deploys a day, and priorities change constantly. Don’t read this JD too literally: responsibilities here will evolve, and the best people define their own scope.
As Technical Chief of Staff, you’ll be a force multiplier for the founders, turning frontier research into market momentum and keeping a fast-moving company operating at full speed.
You’ll own outcomes across go-to-market, operations, and strategy, often becoming the first and only person on a problem until it’s solved or scaled. You’ll work directly with the Co-CEO’s and cofounders on the highest-leverage problems in the company, moving between strategic and deeply tactical work within the same day.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the founders’ highest-priority initiatives, prepare critical partner and investor conversations, coordinate priorities, and turn decisions into execution
- Own zero-to-one go-to-market: shape positioning, identify and land early design partners and customers, run pilots end to end, and build the commercial motion
- Own growth marketing and trade shows end to end, from choosing the right events and shaping the story to generating pipeline and following through on leads
- Build the company’s operating rhythm across planning, goals and KPIs, internal communication, and cross-team execution
- Translate frontier research and technical progress into clear narratives, partnerships, launches, and market opportunities
- Take on whatever is most important and least owned, from a partnership negotiation or market analysis to an operational fire, and drive it to completion
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in high-growth tech across Chief of Staff, founding, early-stage operations, GTM/BizOps, consulting, or strategy roles with a real operating track record
- Fluent in the AI landscape: understand models, frontier labs, and how technical AI products are built and sold
- Proven zero-to-one GTM: personally took something new to market and closed early customers or partners
- Exceptional written and verbal communicator who turns ambiguity into crisp decisions and narratives
- Extremely high energy and endurance; thrive in an intense, all-in environment and default to action
Strong Signals
- Built commercial momentum around a deeply technical or frontier product
- Worked directly with founders, researchers, or technical teams on company-critical priorities
- Built operating systems that made a small, fast-moving company more focused and effective
